Fluential Studio respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and what we do with it.

Who we are
Fluential Studio is a photography and video production business based in New South Wales, Australia. You can contact us at hello@fluential.au.
What we collect
When you enquire or work with us, we collect the information you give us: your name, email address, phone number, the organisation you work for, and the details of the work you are asking us to do, such as dates, locations and on-site contacts.
When we photograph or film for you, we create images and video of the people, places and events you have engaged us to cover.
When you visit our website, our website provider collects standard technical information such as your IP address and browser type, in the ordinary course of serving the site.
We do not collect payment card details. Payments are handled by our invoicing provider.
Why we collect it
To quote for work, to plan and carry out shoots, to deliver finished images and video, to invoice, and to stay in touch about work we are doing or have done for you.
Who we share it with
We share only what is necessary, and only with:
Crew working on your job, such as photographers, videographers and editors, who receive the details needed to do that work
Service providers we use to run the business, including our customer records system, calendar, email, file delivery and accounting providers
Anyone else you ask us to, or where we are required to by law
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing.
Images and video
Images and video we create for you are used to deliver your job. We may also use selected images in our portfolio, on our website or on social media, to show the kind of work we do. If you would prefer we did not, tell us and we will not. If your job involves people who have not agreed to that, let us know before the shoot.
How long we keep it
We keep client and enquiry records for as long as we have a working relationship with you, and for a reasonable period afterwards so we can answer questions about past work and meet our tax and legal obligations. We keep finished images and video archived so we can supply them again if you need them.
Storage and security
Your information is held in business systems operated by reputable providers, protected by access controls and accessible only to people who need it. Some of those providers store data outside Australia. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@fluential.au and we will respond within a reasonable time. If you have a concern about how we have handled your information, tell us first and we will try to sort it out.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update this page and the date at the top.
